In AORML (http://AOR.rezearch.info), this is achieved in "interaction
pattern diagrams" which depict reaction chains in the sense that an
incoming message (on certain conditions) may trigger some action,
(an outgoing message or a method invocation) which may in turn trigger
other actions in other agents.
