FIPA Special Interest Groups

FIPA Working Groups

 

 

FIPA Working Groups (WGs) are designed to carry out other apsects of FIPA’s work, which is not necessarily defined by technology; they may have an application focus or be responsible for interacting with other standards bodies. Their remit is defined by a work plan that is approved by the FIPA Architecture Board and contains a description of the work that the will undertake for a given period of time. Normally, a WG will create informative documents or propose changes to existing specifications to either the appropriate Technical Committee or the FIPA Architecture Board.

WGs follow the same creation procedure as TCs.
