1. Purpose
The FIPA Architecture Board is the authority within FIPA that is responsible for ensuring the consistency, accuracy and suitablility of technical work that is being undertaken by FIPA. It is the FIPA Architecture Board’s responsibility to oversee the work being undertaken by Technical Committees and Working Groups.
Input is taken from the audience through work plans (see [f-out-00010]); if the FIPA Architecture Board approves a work plan, then it is assigned it to an existing Technical Committee or Working Group (or a new one is created).
